What type of travellers join the trips?
Our trips are open to everyone aged 18 and over who identifies as a woman. Age is just a number on our trips. We know that the fiery love for travel never stops, no matter your age.
While many of our travellers come solo, we also welcome friends, mothers, daughters, sisters and anyone else who wants to experience the adventure together.
How many people will be in my group?
We want our trips to be personal and authentic, so we like to keep group sizes small. We believe this is the best way to create lasting connections with both fellow travellers and locals.
While group sizes may vary by trip, they try not to exceed 16 people, allowing for a more intimate experience.
What help is provided after I book the tour?
The advantage of booking a group trip instead of doing it yourself is that we’re always on hand to make your life easier.
Once you secure your spot, you’ll receive a detailed trip pack, covering everything you need to know like what to pack, applying for visas, money and trip FAQs. And if you still have questions, you can reach us directly via WhatsApp, Instagram, or email.
While we don’t book your international flights, we’re experts at finding great deals, so we’re happy to help you score the best fares!
Can you cater for dietary restrictions?
We will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions, including vegetarian and vegan diets, though in some less touristy destinations, it may be a bit challenging.
When booking your spot, please let us know about any dietary requirements, and we’ll reach out if there are any concerns.
Will I share a room?
Our standard accommodation consists of twin-style rooms, which you'll share with fellow travellers on the tour. Private rooms are available upon request for an additional fee, but please notify us at least 60 days before departure to ensure we can accommodate your request.
Depending on the itinerary, some tours may include camping or staying in a local's home, where the accommodation style may differ. These details will be clearly specified in the tour itinerary.
Is there a payment plan?
Upon booking, a deposit is required to secure your spot on the trip. At this time, you can also pay for the trip in full.
Otherwise, the remaining trip balance will be spread across two payments, paid 120 days and 60 days before the trip departure date. Unless you opt out of automatic payments, your remaining instalments will be automatically charged to the same payment method on the instalment due dates.
Don’t worry, you don’t need to remember these dates, you'll receive reminders of when the payments are due. If you choose to manually make the payments, you'll have 14 days to make your instalment payment or risk losing your spot.
What payment methods do you accept?
We recommend paying by bank transfer to avoid additional processing fees. You can also pay by credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, but additional fees apply.
After paying your deposit, your remaining instalments will be automatically charged to the same payment method on their due dates. You can opt out of automatic payments or change your payment method at any time through your booking portal using the details in your confirmation email.
What is the cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be made in writing and sent to info@staywildtravel.com. Since we incur costs in cancelling your arrangements, you will have to pay the cancellation charges as follows:
